Shaver, Chester L

Oberlin College English professor (1937-1974) and well-known William Wordsworth scholar, Chester L. Shaver was educated at Oberlin College and Harvard University, receiving the Ph. D. in 1937. His scholarly achievements include Wordsworth's library: a catalogue (1979) and the second edition of The letters of William and Dorothy Wordsworth: the early years (1967).
